The Curricular Leads team serves VIDA by being the body that oversee's the development of Curriculum and Instruction at VIDA. This body serves as the Instructional Leader on campus. The team meets on the 1st Monday of every month, and meetings are open to all Faculty members on campus. Voting rights are limited to the membership.

The Vista Innovation & Design Academy is governed as a site in what we refer to as a "Flattened Hierarchy." VIDA Teachers and Administration work together through three primary teams. These teams are the VIDA Curricular Leads,  the VIDA Magnet Steering Committee, and the VIDA Equity Council. In addition to these teams, we also still maintain School Site Council.

The Magnet Steering Committee focuses on building the culture of VIDA through our Magnet program. The purpose of this team is to ensure that VIDA is aligned to our Vision, Mission, and that we are supporting our GILLS. This body is responsible for the development of school-wide Design Challenges, management of the Celebrations of Learning, the organization of the Design Expo's, and the on-going development and incorporation of Design Thinking into our professional practices, pedagogy, and student experiences.
